V-Color is a company (from Taiwan established in 2006) for which we have already reviewed two other DDR5 kits. One was the ROG Manta XSky series, with a frequency of 7000 MHz and CL36 latency; the second one was - Manta XPrism 6200 CL36, which is from the same series as the product we will present today. This time, the sample is from the (very) high-capacity kits (2x48 GB), reaching up to 6800 MHz; here, it’s a 6800 CL34 version. This series in the V-Color offers frequencies up to 8400 MHz.

Kioxia Exceria PLUS G3 PCIe 4.0 DRAMless M.2 NVMe review

We review the KIOXIA EXCERIA PLUS G3 SSD, aimed at the mainstream consumer market seeking to enhance their system performance beyond the capabilities of initial entry-level M.2 SSDs. This latest model moves past the limitations of earlier technologies like PCIe Gen3 and NVMe 1.3, offering upgrades in both performance and capacity. Notably, the EXCERIA PLUS G3 SSD comes in larger storage options, such as 2TB, addressing the need for higher data storage capacity.

G.Skill TridentZ5 RGB DDR5 6400 MHz CL32 2 x 32 GB review

G.Skill is a company (from Taipei) whose products don’t need an introduction, as it’s one of the most well-known RAM manufacturers. The provided sample is from a Trident Z5 series consisting of two 32 GB modules with a frequency of 6400 MHz. At first glance, it should be the sweet spot choice for the AMD Ryzen 7000 series and the Intel processors.

Review: HP FX700 2TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD - 2TB for $99

In an effort to make M.2 SSDs cheaper manufacturers are diverting to different controllers and QLC NAND. HP is joining in on that with their FX700 series  NMVe SSD. How does 2TB storage for $89 sound? With a Gen4x4 NVMe Maxio 1602 controller 2400MT/s 3D QLC NAND flash, this SSD reaches sequential read and write speeds up to 7200/6200 MB/s, respectively.

Corsair MP600 Elite PCIe 4.0 DRAMless M.2 NVMe review

Let me introduce you to Corsair's more affordable NVMe SSD, the Corsair MP600 Elite PCIe Gen 4.0 SSD; this is one a fast PCIe Gen 4.0 NVMe SSD that is based on a dramless design. With a transfer rate of 7000 MB/sec, the 2 TB version is priced at 10 cents per GB. However, there is a twist in this round, as the new model comes equipped with an entirely new heatsink. Not only does it look very attractive, but it also functions admirably.

NeoForza MDK5 DDR5 6000 MHz CL40 2 x 48 GB review

Neo Forza MDK5 (who from you remembers the MDK game from 1997?) 6000 CL40 96 GB kit is the third one we got to look at. The previous ones were the Trinity Jetblack 6000 CL40 2x 32 GB and the Trinity DDR5 6400 CL40 2x 16GB. This Taiwanese company (founded in 2018) is a brand of Goldkey (existing since 1998) and obviously likes to provide the DDR5 sets with CL40 timing because the one we are looking at has the same main latency setting.

Crucial T500 PRO 2TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD Review

Delivering superior performance (7400 MB/s) at an affordable price, Crucial's T500 PRO comes dressed to impress. The slower adoption rate of PCIe Gen 5.0 SSDs prompted Crucial to introduce a new SKU featuring a heatsink. The T500 PRO has been enhanced with highly optimized firmware. At a price point of $119 for 2TB, it offers commendable value.

Corsair Dominator Titanium First Edition DDR5 7200 MHz 2 x 16 GB review

Corsair is a company that doesn’t need an introduction but also relates to the PC RAM market. The Dominator series was always their best, and we got an opportunity to check the DDR5 memory from Dominator Titanium First Edition with 7200 MHz frequency (and CL34) with a 2 x 16 GB capacity. This top-tier series in the Corsair offers frequencies up to 7200 MHz (at this moment, but there should be even the 8000 MHz variants). Dominator Titanium RAM includes the proprietary DHX cooling technology, 11 individually addressable LEDs, and a range of accessories that allow users to modify the modules’ appearance.

G.Skill TridentZ DDR5 7200 CL36 2x24 GB review

G.Skill is a company (from Taipei) whose products don’t need an introduction. The main “dish” is the RAM, from the DDR5 type. The provided sample is from a Trident Z5 series. We already covered the 5600 MHz CL36 (RGB-less) variant back in March’2022 (and it earned the “Recommended” award), and 7200 MHz CL34 (with the RGB lighting) also in March, but 2023 (this time it was the “Top Pick”). This time around, the sample is from the high-capacity kits (2x24 GB/2x48 GB) that were announced, yes – also in March (‘23), reaching up to 8200 MHz for the 2x 24 GB edition, and up to 6800 MHz when two 48 GB modules are used.

Patriot Viper Venom RGB 7400 CL36 memory is the kit we will present today. It’s not the first DDR5 set from that company on guru3d. Almost a year ago, the Viper Venom 6200 CL40 was checked. The sample we’re reviewing is the best of the series. There’s also the Elite 5 (RGB/Non-RGB), which can achieve up to 7000 MHz and capacities of up to 96GB, and if you want the most performance, there’s Viper Extreme 5 series, where you can get even an 8000 MHz frequency memory (and the lowest available is 7600 MHz).
