Review: Enermax Liqmaxflo 360 AIO cooler

Cooling 191 Published by Krzysztof Hukalowicz

teaser
Today, we are reviewing a 360 mm variant of an AIO cooler from the Enermax Liqmaxflo 360. The last cooler from this Taiwanese company we had a chance to check was Enermax Aquafusion ADV 360 + 240 mm (and they earned the “Approved” award). Liqmaxflo presents a brand new approach from Enermax, as the radiator is now much thicker than the typical 27 mm and measures 38 mm and has a VRM fan built-in in the pump-block part ((like, for example, the Arctic Liquid Freezer II/III).

Review: FSP Hydro PTM X Pro 1000 W Platinum ATX 3.0 PSU

PSU - Power Supply Units 110 Published by Krzysztof Hukalowicz

teaser

Today, we’re putting the new FSP Hydro PTM X Pro – a 1000 W power supply on our test bench. It’s not the first ATX 3.0 compatible unit we looked at from that company because we checked the FSP Hydro Ti Pro 1000W and FSP Hydro G Pro 1000W last year. The PSUs are not the only products from FSP (as, for example, there is a rather wide choice of chassis); still - they’re the most important ones on offer. This time, it’s a 1000 Watt model (in black) with an 80 PLUS® Platinum certificate, which means that it’s 92% efficient at 50% load @ 115 V and 94% efficient @ 230 V.

This time, the sample is from the (very) high-capacity kits (2x48 GB), reaching up to 6800 MHz; here, it’s a 6800 CL34 version. This series in the V-Color offers frequencies up to 8400 MHz.

Today, we’re putting the new Seasonic Prime Titanium – a 1600W power supply on our test bench. It’s not the first ATX 3.0 compatible unit we looked at from that company because we checked the Vertex GX-1000 last year. We also had a chance to review the non-ATX 3.0 edition with 1300 W. The PSUs are not the only products from Seasonic (because we checked the chassis -> Q704 and Q503), but they’re the most important in the offer. TX-1600 has ATX 3.0 and PCIe Gen 5.0 compatibility.

Review: Asus ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM (QD-OLED monitor)

Monitors 31 Published by Hilbert Hagedoorn

The Asus PG32UCDM is Asus's step into the world of QD-OLED monitors, offering a 32-inch screen with 4K resolution that's very popular among gamers. This model stands out with a high refresh rate of 240Hz, and it uses a third-generation 32" QD-OLED panel from Samsung. The Asus PG32UCDM has a flat screen. Preference for curved or flat screens varies from person to person, but what makes the Asus PG32UCDM unique is its cooling system. Instead of using a fan for cooling like the AW3225QF does, it uses a heatsink which works without making any noise.

Review: Asus BTF - A clean cable-free PC build with GPU, Mobo and Chassis

PC Cases and Modding 229 Published by Hilbert Hagedoorn

This year at CES Asus introduced its new design concept for desktop PCs named "BTF," This concept is all about revamping the way we think about the internal setup of PCs. Specifically, it's about getting rid of all the messy cables that usually crisscross inside a computer case. By moving the necessary connections for power and other cables to the back side of the motherboard, the inside of the PC looks much neater and more appealing. We have a first peek at an entire build.
